DESCRIPTION

Lɜafpad is a simple GTK+ text editor that emphasizes simplicity. As development focuses on keeping weight down to a minimum, only the most essential features are implemented in the editor. Lɜafpad is simple to use, is easily compiled, requires few libraries, and starts up quickly.

Why you fork Leafpad?

I ported Leafpad to GTK+ 3.x and have used it happily about 6 months. I have sent the patch to author of Leafpad.
However, he still focus on GTK+ 2.x only, even with Leafpad 0.9.x branch (he said).
I think my ported Leafpad is stable enough to share with other people, so I release it here. :-)
